Biking!

Daddy took me to look at cool bikes! Sure, I'm a bit small, but I'm told all the cool kids have bikes these days!


Pink just wasn't my color -- so I tried the blue...


More to my liking, but still a bit big. Maybe next summer you'll see me tearing around town on my cool little bike!

What the...?

Mommy claims this is a tomato. I understand it is a vegetable. I'm practicing for the future and refusing to touch it!



It looks too freaky. I wouldn't want to eat THAT!

Sleeping...

Mommy says, "This is tooooo kewt!"

Lunch Time!

We headed out for lunch the other day. I was hungry, and the usual gruel they feed me just wasn't going to cut it. I wanted something crisp, crunchy and snappy! So, I stole Daddy's potato chips!


Yummy! Of course, they made me thirsty,

So I stole mommy's water. It was a good meal!!

Walking on the Grass!

Mommy and I went for a walk on the grass!


It has kind of a strange feeling between your toes. But I like it!

Dancing with the Spencer!

In a sad commentary on my parent's otherwise sad lives, they were watching "Dancing with the Stars" last night. When I realized that they didn't have a real star on there -- like, say, me! I just had to get up and dance right along with them!

They did such a good job keeping up with me, I gave them a big hand!


But when it came to the scoring, I was a bit confused -- Clearly, I deserved to get a 11. Even the stars on the TV were disappointed with my scores.

I'm not sure why -- I kept my lines clean (and my nappy too!), I was in time with the music, and was exceedingly cute all at the same time!


Now, if I could just get my hands on daddy's phone, I could vote for me!

My Weekend Hat!

Since Memorial Day weekend is coming up, summer is nearly here! With that in mind, I figured I should protect myself from that Evil Flaming Ball of Gas in the Sky called "the Sun" and wear a hat!

Daddy's hat, unfortunately, doesn't quite fit. However, it makes a really nice drum!


Maybe next year I can wear this one!

My First Joke!

I played a joke on Mommy and Daddy over the weekend!

They've been pestering me to walk now for weeks. So, I stand up...toddle along a little ways (which is about 2 steps unless daddy tricks me!). Then I realize that crawling is faster and I stop to go back to crawling. It is practical and it works.

Saturday night, they were going on about me walking again. I had been toddling around holding onto daddy's hand. I got bored of that so I sat down. Mommy came into the room and they were talking about my walking. Daddy said, "Rise, Spencer!" and I stood up. Daddy said, "Walk, Spencer!" And I took a step. And then another. And another! I went about 20 steps around the living room -- laughing and clapping the whole way to the sheer amazement of my parental units!

Like they know what a Spencer can do!

Daddy got the camera. I sat down. I looked at him like, "What? You want a repeat performance?" He didn't have any cheesecake, so I just smiled.

Cheesecake!

Mommy and Daddy took me out to lunch! We went to this really cool place called "The Cheesecake Factory". I got to sit outside on this shady little patio next to the lake and watch the ducks and red wing blackbirds.

They brought me a special little meal -- bananas and this tasty bread! It wasn't on the menu, but they clearly knew a V.I.P. when they saw one! So I munched my bananas (well, ok -- more greedily stuffed them into my mouth then ate them!). And then I munched on mommy's and daddy's lunches as well. Mommy had deep fried mac'n'cheese. It was yummy! Daddy had tuna and french fries! They too were yummy!

Then came desert. It was this stuff called "Cheesecake". I decided to help myself...


I went for mommy's Peanut Butter Cheesecake. It was mega-yummy! Daddy's cheesecake was tasty too! I think I found my true love ... Cheesecake!

Unfortunately, mommy and daddy insisted on eating most of their cheesecake themselves. I was mega-bummed about that. No wonder they fed me all that tuna and mac'n'cheese first!

Nothing but Nappie!

Wandering around the house in nothing but my nappy is kinda cool. And, sure -- I know it's showing off, but it's fun!


I've also got the pointing thing down pretty well now. I can point at most things, and when in my nappy, it has all that much more impact!


But what I really get to do is show off my extremely muscular physique!


Summer is just around the corner as well -- so, with any luck, I'll get to hang out by the pool and really show off!

Chocoholic

Just to make sure everybody knows, yea, I got into the chocolate. And, yea, I like it! It's fun to play with!


And the Ghirardelli stuff is really tasty!


Mommy has so much, I couldn't even eat all of it!


So alas, I guess I'll have to finish the rest off tomorrow!

Play Ball!

Look what Mommy got me!


It's a almost-Spencer-sized giant ball! And it's MY almost-Spencer-sized giant ball!


I love beating on it as it makes the coolest noise!


I also get to chase it around the house. It doesn't behave very well and seems to have a mind of its own...


Daddy even bounces it around for me when he puts his iPhone down!

Mommy's Day Photos (Finally!)

I know, I know ... I really should upload my photos more often. After all, Mommy's day was last weekend and I'm only just getting around to it now! (Who knows, maybe grandma can edit that in the book she's making with all my posts).

But anyways, I gave mommy lots of cool things for mommy's day!


Like cool music and a cool DVD -- though she said I couldn't watch it until I was 16! (NOT FAIR!)


And a cool card with a Panda on it!


As well as a little box. It was pretty lame as I couldn't get it open...and the earrings inside just sparkled and weren't at all dangley -- not sure why I got them, but oh well, she approved of them...

Of course, the real thing she got for mommy's day is me. I did try and remind her of that as well!

Hats for All...

We went out for lunch at a Buffalo Wild Wings, and I got a cool little hat! Daddy folded it out of a so-called kiddie menu that had absolutely nothing that I would eat on it...


After all, I only eat mommy's food -- and she had french fries and chicken and ribs! So I had french fries, chicken and ribs too! I had to keep my hat nice and safe and secure throughout lunch!


So, I highly recommend hats here! The food wasn't bad -- I don't know why daddy wouldn't give me any of his extra spicy really hot hot hot wings, 'cos I do like spicy food! But I got a hat, so that was still cool....

Child Labor!

Somebody call the government -- I'm being forced to do more labor! After helping mommy with her laundry, I'm now stuck doing daddy's as well! I have to carry around this really heavy basket!


After which, I check it to make sure it is actually clean...


Then, I have to sort it...


Easy to throw stuff goes on the left, hard to throw stuff goes on the right!


And finally, I get stuck folding it!


It's not fair! They'd better get me some good ice cream for all this work!

Changing the Bed!

Well, my chores continue. Now I seem to be expected to help change the sheets on mommy's bed. After ripping them off, I had to inspect the bed to make sure it was sufficiently comfortable...


Passing that test, I moved onto the Fun Test!


Again, it passed -- so I had to tell mommy what I thought!


So, I told her that this is now MY bed -- she and daddy can go sleep in the crib instead! I don't think she quite understood...

Flowers

Wandering around the park means I get to look at flowers. Now, don't get me wrong -- flowers are kinda cool, like the bright yellow ones



...and the bright red ones...



...and the white ones that smell kinda sweet....


But there is only so much I can take before I want to just reach out and RIP THEM OFF!


Maybe then we could go get some french fries and ice cream!!!!

Garden Visit

I got wheeled around a garden -- yawn! How totally parental is that?


There was some cool water I wanted to splash around in...


...but Mommy was having none of that!


So I just got to sit there and be cute. As well as sleep. Eventually something kinda familiar showed up...



I wonder when I saw this last!

Helping with the Laundry...

I'm starting to do chores -- yea, can you believe that? Mommy has me helping her with the laundry! When she wants to hang things up, I get her a clothes pin.


...and I dump it on the floor.


She then picks them up and uses them! It's a rough job, but I just have to endure...

Library Trip

Some people to to the library to read books. Others go to study, socialize, hang out in the A/V rooms... But me? I go so I can wrestle the Big Red Toothy Monster!


It's amazing what they have at your local library these days! I'm hoping they get a dragon for me next!
