Nap Time

On a hot summer day, there is a certain technique to napping...

Rubber Duckie Race!

Mommy took me to a Rubber Ducky Race! It started off with me getting this strange bill --


...and then, after a bit of waiting, they released the Rubber Duckies. There were like 2,000 of these things racing down the river!


But before long, a real duck joined the race -- along with a few ducklings of her own.


I don't think its fair 'cos the real ducky was so much faster! Unfortunately, my ducky didn't win so I didn't get a prize -- next time, I think I'll see about getting the mommy ducky to be mine!

Chopstick Practice

Even I have to practice to use chopsticks correctly. Fortunately, I have these giant foam ones!


It'll take me a bit longer to get the hang of chopsticks tho -- it is easy to fling food with a spoon or fork, but these? Not sure how I'm going to manage that...

Daddy went to Montreal...

...the other week and All's I got was this Cute T-shirt!


Meanwhile, he took pictures of Jenson Button and other cars going really fast!


I'm going to make him put that one on my wall!

Correct Usage of a Slide

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park the other evening. And I had a real blast -- I got to start off on the Swing!


After, I moved onto this thing called a "Slide". I'm not sure why it is called that, as to maximize the fun, I got to "climb"!


I made it all the way to the top all by myself!


Then, I flopped on my belly and carefully lowered myself back to the bottom. And I did it a second time! A couple of bigger kids were watching me, but they couldn't figure out to to use the slide properly as they just went down. What's the point in that? That's EASY!

After, we headed over and listened to this jazz band. I got to hang out and look cute!


Maybe we'll get to do this NEXT week as well!

Haircut 1.00

Mommy gave me a quick buzz job. I'm not quite sure what to think about it...


While it is kinda cute, still, I'll be glad when it grows back!

Out to Lunch

Lunch out means the difficult task of reading a menu. While not nearly as exciting as some of my books, it can sure be thrilling!


The difficulty is always deciding what to eat. Sometimes, I think there are just too many choices in the menu!

After, I stopped by the bar and thanked the bartender for the lovely glass of juice!


We finished up at Oberweis Dairy, home of the World's Best Ice Cream! And I should know, having tried all two kinds -- Oberweis and Not Oberweis. The Not Oberweis just doesn't measure up to the real stuff!

I was NOT happy about having to wait for my Ice Cream. Mommy was ordering and it took her a while to show up with my purple cow spoon and my ice cream. I also like their purple cow spoons! Though, she says, next time I'm getting a RED one!

Daddy's Day!

Daddy's Day.

You know, that one day a year where I have to recognize his contributions to my well being -- and blog about them when I get around to it several days later! I woke him up at 5:00am for some milk.


You can tell he is just thrilled to start so bright and early! I particularly like my new jammies with the cute little monkey feet! We then watched the World Cup until nap time! And then, it was back to Spencer's Day!

Eating out

This is what happens when we go out to eat and daddy gets all "artistic" on me.


It's depressing. You can barely tell it is me in the photo! I look like I'm a little advertisement for wine -- and I'm not even allowed to drink this "Cooper's Hawk" stuff!!! Someone please tell Daddy that he is supposed to take pictures of me being CUTE -- not obscured behind drink glasses!

More Laundry

They still have me doing chores around the house. Here I am, 14 months old and I'm already managing to do the laundry.






Can someone please get them to stop this child labor? Please?

Pancakes

We went out for breakfast the other day and guess what I got!


Yes! A WHOLE PLATE of Pancakes! Wow! It was rather a lot of pancakes. I mean, they were almost as big as my head!


I chewed on them for a while but barely made a dent in them. I preferred Daddy's pancakes with Blueberries in them, and munched on mommy's eggs as well. But it was kinda cool to get my own food for a change!

Free Pizza!

We went to the mall the other day, and guess what! I got free pizza!


It was kinda cool -- they gave me a WHOLE SLICE! Cheese and tomatoes and garlic butter crust. It was tasty! It just needed some proper pepperoni and pineapples!

Grass

I don't like grass.

It feels weird on my feet. It scratches my delicate little toes. Nope. I don't like it. And when you're not looking, it sneaks up on you and is wet!


Grass is good for standing on and even then I had best be wearing shoes. It's the only time I'll wear shoes. Otherwise, give me bare feet and carpets anyday!

Sippy Cup

I've now mastered the art of the sippy cup!


...as well as looking dramatic when I'm about to drink from it.


First the bottle, then the straw, and now I'm the master of the sippy! Watch out world, Talking is Next!

Throwdown, with Spencer!

Mommy and Daddy bought me a giant pillow! I've got this really fun game called Throwdown! I sneak up on it, and I PoUNcE!


Fortunately, the pillow rarely fights back so I can take a moment to regroup...


...and then LEAP back into attack mode!


I'm thinking about challenging Bobby Flay to a proper Throwdown -- none of his cooking stuff!

Cuteness Competition

Can you believe it? There is now a cuteness competition in the neighborhood -- and this is what I have to compete against!


Baby Bunnies! Yes, Baby Bunnies!


All cute and cuddly and fluffy -- oh! They make me so angry to think they could hop in here and take away my cuteness title! Fortunately, they'll grow up into fluffy bunnies and lose their cuteness long before I do!

Mr. Cool

Lounging around is hard work!

Hanging around being mega cute in all circumstances is hard. Yet, I manage to do it. Even when getting my nappie changed!
