Bad Boy of Computing!

I've been reading about all these hacker-types lately, and I've decided to try and emulate them!  The fundamental concept of hacking is to go where you're not supposed to be, and for me, that is anywhere near Daddy's computer!

Sadly, I'm Spencer so I'm not Anonymous and I'm not exactly up on the current hacking techniques -- short of opening up Daddy's computer -- but I've sure got a cool look for doing it someday!

You can tell I'm baaaad 'cos the hat'z backwards.  And it is much, much cuter that way as well!

Now, don't any of you go telling the FBI I'm breaking into Daddy's computer -- 'cos that might get me in trouble!

Light Ball!

One of my favorite toys to play with at night is a flashing light ball!  Mommy dug it out again, so I can be overly dramatic!

It makes for wonderful action shots -- here, I'm twisting away with it as it flashes...

Or it can be just plain funny.  Ball, meet Head.  Head, meet Ball!

Usually, though, I try for my usual cute!  The strange illumination usually enhances it, and makes it somewhat dramatic!

Housework....

Now that we have a new house, you know what we're doing?

Housework.  All those little things that need to be done -- you know, like shunting (hey!  I learned that from Thomas!) boxes and all the little things.  We're spending time installing curtain rods, putting things in closets to put things on, cleaning, and well, lots and lots of things.  Just 'cos you have a new house doesn't mean you don't have rather a lot of work to do!

It's kinda funny to watch the parental units try and pick out blinds.    Paper, plastic, wood.  Pull up, pull down, pull both ways.  Red ones, blue ones, green ones -- did you know there were that many choices?  I'm learning the hard way that there are; I think it's kinda shocking.  I just want mine to have Thomas the Tank Engine on them, but alas, they don't seem to be asking me...

Hopefully, they'll put the Phineas and Ferb stuff up in my room soon.  And my name so the whole world will know it's mine without me having to remind them.  And trains -- it needs lots of train things.  And another Elmo or two wouldn't hurt...

Lazy Sundays

After spending a busy Saturday running around after trains, what comes next?  Why, that's easy -- a lazy Sunday wrapped up in a cozy blanket watching bad television!  I certainly take on after mum in that department!  I wonder what Tommy is up to today?

Oh!  Another train crash!  There are rather a lot of them on the Island of Sodor!  Sure glad I don't have to ride the trains there, even if luckily nobody is ever hurt!

Oh!  I wonder how Tommy is going to get out of this mess he created for himself!

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be learning from that show.  "Don't bump the buffers" and "Say sorry to Sir Topham Hatt" seem to be all I'm getting so far.  Fortunately, I have no bumpers to bump and I've yet to see Sir Topham Hatt around here -- I guess I'm doing quite well!

The Trains are Back!

Today we went to the gardens because....

Mommy wanted me to pose in a sea of tulips...

Really.  She likes tulips.

She even likes tulips posing in a sea of tulips.

But mostly, it was for the trains!  They're back and running!!

And I get to watch all of them run around the tracks!

They are by far the coolest thing in the garden.  I could spend all day here!

There are even some of the engines from Thomas -- which is pretty cool when they're running!

A New House!

Ok, we bought a new house!

Now, I'm thinking -- wait, I have to move, AGAIN!?!  I'm not even three years old and already I'm moving to my third address.  This one is in a place called Evanston.  It's about 10 miles away, and there is a park across the street.  And there is a daycare across the street.  And another park just down the road.  And another park a little further away with a good coffee shop on the way.  Oh, and a bakery to get donuts and muffins and other good, tasty stuff.

That doesn't sound too bad to me.  And this place even has a nice little yard to run around in (assuming they get grass installed in it).  It has four whole floors so I can run around and hide!   There are little kids in the neighborhood that I can play with.  Flowers in the back garden for me to pick.  A balcony so I can watch planes, birds and squirrels -- as well as launch a bubbleattack against the neighbors.

I might actually like it here!!!!  Now if we'd just hurry up and move...

A Quiet Evening...

Kicking back, I often watch videos of my favorite things -- TRAINS!  The best ones are big, make lots of noise and go "CHOO CHOO!"  Sadly, I'm a bit stuck with Thomas the Tank Engine -- which is a bit too cute and too, um, simple for me.  I much prefer the bigger, older variety of trains like giant Steam Engines!

Then, I have to brush my teeth.  I hate brushing my teeth.  It's my least favorite thing they make me do.  I really hate it when Mommy or Daddy brushes my teeth -- they do a good job and on top of it, don't let me escape!

After tooth brushing, it's just waiting for a story and then bedtime.  I'm really into DINOSAURS!  I really like doing the "ROAR!!!!" noise myself!

But until Daddy puts the bloomin' camera down, I'll just have to wait....

Evil Rain Storm!

We had a big rainstorm go through right around sunset.  It turned the sky a evil orange color, and the flowers on the trees were dramatically offset to make everything totally evil colored!

Rainy Day....

It's raining outside.  And I blame....

YOU!

I'm stuck inside.  It's not fair!

Beautiful Mornings!

Warm May mornings are best spent in a nice, cozy spot -- like in the front window watching the world go by!

I like watching the birds and the squirrels.  They're kinda cool and have a wonderful, carefree life -- almost as carefree as me!

My only concern is looking cute!  Veeery cute!  It's a tough job some days, but usually, I manage.

So, I wonder what we're going to do today?  I'm sure I'll find out -- hopefully, it'll involve PIZZA!

More Prezzies!

I got more prezzies -- and they came all the way from LONDON!  It's really fun to open them...

The best part of them was the shiny paper.  It required a bit of work to open, but in the end proved to be quite easy once I figured out the trick...

...and what's inside?

I don't know!  I'm just having too much fun with the paper!!!!

Teddy Bear Throwdown!

I'm trying to teach teddy how to be a better wrestler.  We keep having these throwdown sessions and I keep winning!  Who'd have thunk that I could be a champion Bear Wrestler before my third birthday!  Here, I'm showing him where he should be jumping off so he can try and pin me down!

And after a good attempt, I'm having to really struggle with this guy.  He fights rather mean some days!

But after throwing him off, I'm rid of him and once again VICTORIOUS!

Maybe next week, he'll surprise me with something else...

Flowers!

With a trip to the gardens, you know there are going to have to be pictures of flowers, plants and other garden-y thingies.  Today, it's flowers!  The train garden was not open yet -- which is always a disappointing thing to discover upon reaching the garden -- but there were lots and lots of colorful flowers already out and about!

You can also have a little bit of Zen.  Or are they just rocks?  Or is that what makes it Zen?  Does anybody really know?

The bright red ones were the coolest flowers.  Daddy would not let me pick any though!

Outside, At Last!

...assuming Mommy can keep my shoes on!

Grandma and grandpa took me to the gardens -- which is always fun!  I like wandering around them in the cool spring weather...

As the local guide, I have to show grandpa everything!  I wouldn't want him to miss something neat!

Mommy keeps me on the path -- why I don't know.  There are sooooo many fun looking things just around the corner.  I think this little guy was trying to show me some, but mommy said to stay on the path no matter what!

When we got to the Japanese garden, I made mommy pose for a photo.  Its always quite fun in the gardens!

Window Dressing

It's 7:00am -- and I'm up.  And you know what?  I want to go outside -- even in my jammies!  But until I get myself dressed, the only thing I can do is let the world view me through the window!

If I could just get this window open, I could possibly escape!

I haven't a clue how to open this silly window, but I can keep trying!

Oh well!  Maybe later!!

The Story so Far...

In the beginning, the universe was created.  This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.   Or at least so said Douglas Adams, who daddy should start reading to me...

Yes, I've been busy.
And yes, this is backdated - I've got lots of posts to do...

You see, lots has happened since my last post.  For starters...

  1. We bought a new house!
  2. We went on vacation!
  3. Daddy (the fool!) broke his arm.
  4. We moved, broken arm and all.
  5. Daddy (the fool!) had surgery to remove bone fragments from his also-broken wrist.
  6. We went on vacation -- again -- and Daddy gets to spend time catching up!  This time, I've made him promise not to break anything!
There are probably other mis-adventures along the way, but sadly, some of them got missed as my only and official photographer had a broken arm.  He's almost recovered, so you can send me lots of sympathy for having to put up with him for the last few months!

So, over the next few days, you should be seeing LOTS and LOTS of posts -- Assuming I give him time to do them all!
