Surgery

Daddy had surgery on his hand today.  They removed some bone fragments from when he fell while running a few weeks ago.  He's got this big cast on his hand -- which they didn't have on after he broke it 'cos they missed it -- so he can't pick me up.  It makes jumping up on him kinda interesting.  He can't catch me right now.  I don't like it.

It's going to last for a couple weeks...

Funny Hat Day!

Some people have good hair days.  Some people have bad hair days.  Me?  I have ... FUNNY HAT DAYS!  This was a particularly bizarre hat daddy made out of a sheet of packing paper left over from the move.  Yea, I know ... he's still unpacking after all this time -- albeit with only one arm that actually works...

It's not quite as good as daddy's hat with a feather in it that is hiding away in a box in one of the closets that hasn't been unpacked yet, but it's still fun!

And the best thing about this hat -- if I think its too embarrassing -- I can always hide!

I've become an expert climbing stairs.  I'm wondering why I ever thought they were difficult in the first place!  And on top of it ... it is a great place to hang out with a cheezy smile for the camera!

Climbing and Driving...

...and there is lots and lots of climbing to be done.  The best one for me these days is this chain ladder.  It took me a couple tries and a bit of help from daddy to figure it out, but in the end I conquered it.

Now, it's really easy!

There are also these giant steering wheels so one can drive the playground.

More Park!

In addition to the slides, there are lots and lots of other things to do.  For example, take the sandbox!  I love playing in the sand, getting messy and dirty and then listening to mommy go on about all the fun sand I've tracked into the house!  People often leave toys here, so I usually don't have to bring anything and I still get to have tons of fun!

Now, I wouldn't actually get dirty when I'm supposed to be cute -- just isn't the right thing to do.  So, let's move onto the things to run around on!  There are several little bridges to play on...  One is pretty stable and not much fun...

Then there is the bouncy bridge.  It bounces.  And it's much more fun!  I love running back and forth on it...

...and sticking out my tongue and going "La la la la la la" when daddy says it is time to go home -- gotta do that too!

The New Park!

Now that I reside in a cool new place, I should probably say something about my favorite thing to do -- hit up the various parks!  In the morning, daddy goes and gets a cup of coffee and takes me to this cool park and I get to do my favorite things -- starting with ... SLIDES!

Some of the slides are just too small.  I try and avoid them in favor or the covered slide 'cos it's bigger!  I love going down it ... cos it's fun!

Sneaking into Daddy's New Office!

Part of this new place is we have this cool loft -- it's open, airy and gets some fantastic light in the morning!  Which, mind you, is when I usually try sneaking into it in an attempt to hack into daddy's computer (or the Pentagon, which looks to be easier then daddy's computer!)  That said, the lighting makes for some dramatic and cute photos...

Even if daddy can barely hold a camera, that is...

Oops!  Just broke into the Pentagon again!

Seriously, though ... with my cuteness, what could possibly go wrong?
