Introductions are probably in order!
Now that I've arrived, I should probably tell you who I'm with. First, there is Silly Cousin Nathan. He likes being upside down. When you pick him up by his ankles, he laughs! He climbs on kitchen counters, flops over the furniture and slides around the floor.

Then there is Cool Cousin Nice Naomi. She smiles quite a lot and is quite polite. Her current hobby includes mixing all sorts of cool things together and making non-Newtonian fluids. She is clearly the smart one!
And finally, there is Uncle Gabriel. He is the one who spends his time herding the cats around here! Of course, Nathan just *had* to get into the picture...

Up Early!
I got up early...like, say, 8:00am. Mommy and Daddy looked like my Halloween Zombies, but that was ok. I had some exploring to do!
Crawling around a new place is always fun! I got to crawl on the heated floor around the kitchen! It was very different from the wooden and tile thing back home. And it was shiny! And I *like* shiny!
I found mom's purse and decided to try and eat it!

Then there was the fireplace. I had to check that out!

And then I had a fun time of trying to find my sock! It blended in with the rug, and after I had disposed of it, I had to spend some time looking for it!
I plan on crawling all around for the next couple of days and exploring everything!

A Long Flight...
Christmas time has arrived, and what happens? I depart for lands far away. This means flying!
I was rather disappointed to find out it didn't mean stretching out my arms and being carried around by daddy. It ended up being a short car trip, followed by a wait in a lounge, and then onto a giant tin-can called a plane for 8 hours.
There is nothing to do in those plane things. I bounced around a bit. I happily chirped at those around me, including Adrian in the next seat. I was, with out a doubt, the cutest kid in my class -- first, of course! The Good Uncle Bruce got us upgraded! It meant I had more space to bounce around, occasionally looking back at the lesser people in Rat Class!
We emerged in a place called "London". It looked remarkably like Chicago, complete with snow. We were met by Grandpa and Uncle Gabriel -- and proceeded to hop into their Volkswagen with the steering wheel on the WRONG side. I thought about this, but since it was dark, it didn't really matter. The only think I could see were the lights flashing by....
We got back to Uncle Gabriel's place. At which point, everybody went to bed. It was 2:00am, and I was excited! But off to bed I went anyways....

GIFTS!
This big box arrived in the post today from Aunt Lynn and Uncle Rich. Mommy said it was for Christmas. But, after my most recent experience with "Santa Claws", I figured I would open it anyways!

It contained a mega cool box! Boxes are fantastic, and when they are bright and colorful, they are even better!
I tried to wear it as a hat ... I tried to hide from Daddy in it. But it wasn't quite big enough for that. It was plenty big to bang and make noise! Inside the box was a cool blanket to play on -- or maybe to snuggle up in on a cold day.

FISH!
I went to the Aquarium in Chicago with Daddy, Rion, Evan and NICE uncle Bruce! I've decided that today, I like him! But it started with a looong walk in the cold. How cold was it? It was so cold, I had to steal a blanket from Aunt Becky!
Just my little eyes were all that were visible. Sure, I could see ... but then again, why would I want to? It was freeeezing outside! Mommy would never take me out in weather like this! Rion had the right idea as well...
But we arrived, and I thawed out. And I got to see a Giant Turtle!

His face was very distinguished. Much like grandpa! Of course, Daddy had to have the obligatory photo with me just to prove he still exists...
