Library Trip!

A trip to the library is always one of my favorite things. When I get to go on a weekend, I usually get to go with both Mommy *and* Daddy! Upon arrival, it's good to start with a little snack. Milk is always a favorite. It gives me lots and lots of energy!


After some milk, I like to go re-arrange the doll house. Ok, not so much re-arrange it, but rather, remove all the furniture and hide it!


Then, it's off to the computers to do some real work. I'm not sure what I'm accomplishing, but it sure is hard!


Then, off to the drinking fountain! These are lots of fun -- I press a bar, and then there is water flying through the air! With a bit of help, I make it go even further!!!


Lastly, there is the elevator. Unfortunately, I'm just a tad bit too short and unable to reach it. But some day -- and probably soon -- I'll overcome this!


Of course, when I do, it means I can run off and explore the OTHER parts of the library that mommy and daddy don't let me go to... Muhahahahahaaaaaa!

Diners, Drive-ins, and...

The Shanty?
Yup. The Shanty. Mommy loves the show Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. So, we headed up the road to one just near the Wisconsin border. It was a bit of a dive, but I immediately changed my mind when I saw the food!


The whiskey-covered shrimp was tasty. I munched down all of the broccoli -- which, by the way, is on my short list for vegetable of the year!

I followed that up with some Pulled Pork, chips, some "Poor Man's Lobster" (which was tasty cod), and numerous other things. They were all really tasty!


So, after this tasty meal, I've decided to give this place the official Spencer Seal of Approval.

How does one...

...get a drink around here? Well, actually, there are 3 simple steps!

1. Sneak up on it when nobody is looking. It helps to be mega cute -- that often distracts those around from your true intentions!


2. Grasp Daddy's drink firmly in both hands. Pretend not to notice what is going on around you!

3. GUZZLE!


And that's it! What I don't understand is every time I manage to steal a drink, it is always empty!

New Friends

I was at Barnes and Nobel and met Isabelle and Emily! Emily just had to get in the picture. She's 22 months old and loves to be the center of attention.

Isabelle is a bit older and more mature -- more my style. She's in kindergarten, whatever that is... We had a great time together playing though!

We played with unicorns and dragons and books. After, we played with the train! Barnes and Nobel is the best place with all their toys and neat kids!

Right. I'm done for this week!

Books

Books are fun. Usually, Mommy lets me pick them out...


And once I get it open, she then reads them to me.


They provide interesting stimulation. Set my mind going. The pretty pictures are always a fav, and the ones that have a nice rhythm to them are really cool.

Somebody call a Doctor -- Seuss, that is!!!!

Exercise Time!

Everyone needs to get lots and lots of exercise. And I'm no exception. Every couple of days, I try to get in a good workout -- and show off my pects in the process!


Lifting heavy and awkward objects, of course, makes me very thirsty. So, I have to break into the refrigerator and steal some of daddy's vitawater.


Yummy! I just can't figure out why they don't give me more of this stuff. Right now, it's just milk, water and the occasional Caffeine-free Diet Coke I steal from the parents!
