Yes, I travelled to the San Francisco Bay area and yes, I did actually get to see a small slice of the Sourdough capital! It was a grand day out, starting with a trip on BART!
It's kinda like the trains back in New York, but they are clean and quiet. Go figure! We arrived in San Fran proper, and almost immediately, I got to see a old-fashioned cable car!
They also have these old-style trolleys that are quite cool!
After taking in the sights, daddy went and found some good coffee -- go figure! This one was called "Blue Bottle", and while I napped...
Mommy went and found cheese just down the way...
They also had a sandwich at this pig place -- Bocaleone. Mommy has been drooling over the thought of going there since she saw it on FoodTv! We then wandered along the water front on a very, very nice day!
...after which, daddy tried to get all "artistic" with the camera. Mommy took me on ahead (whew!)...
After, we ended up at this place with my new favorite -- sour dough bread! Yummy!! I got to eat bread and clam chowder -- both things go on my list of foods to eat. I'm never eating that pre-packaged MUSH again!
We continued wandering around -- I got to see the Golden Gate Bridge (from a distance)
...and we hit up Giradelli Square. After, we walked back and I got to ride on Daddy's shoulders for a good chunk of the way while mommy pushed the stroller. Then, it was naptime -- so back onto BART and I slept... I don't know about you, but if you are ever in San Fran, SEND ME SOUR DOUGH and CLAM CHOWDER!
