Spencer-cize!

Everybody needs to exercise, and I'm no exception. Only rather then exercise, I SPENCER-CISE! I usually start by working on my arm muscles -- after all, some day I'm going to be big and strong!

After my arms, I work on my abs a bit -- while I get my balance.

I like to work on my thighs with mini-lunges!

As well as generic bouncing squats...

And finally, I like to work on my mega-cuteness with a dramatic camera stare!

Escaping!

I'm getting more and more mobile -- and of course, the parental units have taken to restricting my movements more and more. But, of course, I've taken to escaping -- or at least, convincing them to let me out! The first thing I do is select an appropriate tool to make noise!

If that doesn't work, I result to my usually reliable backup : screaming!

Finally, I can go to happy babbling noises that makes them want to let me go!

Personally? I rather like the noise making bits!

After-Bath!

Yup...even I get stuck taking the occasional bath to keep my mega-cuteness factor going. The art of being mega-cute means you have to be somewhat clean... Face it -- being a little smudge with last night's dinner adorning your t-shirt or face is never cute! Hence, the bath...

And then lounging around in a warm, colorful towel!

But in the end, it all comes down to the correctly timed smile!

Furniture Surfing

Well, I've started surfing -- you know, traveling from object to object, trying to get around the room...

Of course, in getting around means I can get into things! Here, I discovered where daddy has been hiding some of my toys. Had I been crawling, I'd have gone right by them and not noticed them just sitting there. I think it means he'll start hiding things a bit higher, but still ... it'll just be a short time before I figure out where he hides the ladders!

Artistic License

This is what happens when daddy plays with his stupid camera and gets "artistic". Yea, I'm not sure what I'm looking at either, but I'm there, and seem to be simply FLYING around the shot...
Combining in some flash and technical babble like "F-this" and "F-that" (no, not that F-this!) he gets these shots. Do I care what he's talking about? Heck NO!

Of course, mommy would rather daddy did other things with his time then play with a camera...
..like, you know, playing with ME!

Mommy Time...

Happy time with mommy -- my favorite time of day!

Playing with Mommy

I get to spend lots of time with mommy, and these are some of my favorite things to do! I can smile and laugh with her!

...snuggle with her foot!

I can use her as an obstacle course!

And I can tackle her and pin her to the floor (while moving over her to something MORE interesting...)

All these cool playthings to do with mommy! I love my mommy!

My favorite food...

Yes, I complain about the food. But it isn't all bad -- I have found *something* I like to chew on...

Yea, it's my sock! Sure tastes better then the gruel!

Deal with that one, daddy!

Standing lessons...

For all you non-standers out there, here are a few quick tips!

1. Crawl....
Get to somewhere convenient.

2. Pull...
Use your arms!

3. Stand...
Yes, it is that easy!

Make everyone think you're a genius. Simple!

Laundry Day...

The best place to play can be in daddy's clean laundry! When it comes out of the dryer, it is roasty and toasty and warm! It's perfect, and I can hop right into the basket!

Standing!

When I'm not complaining about the food, I get to spend my days rolling around the place. Though that isn't always true, as now I'm also starting to pull myself up and experiment with this "walking" thing. I think I mentioned it earlier as I started doing it back in London...but now, I'm doing it *constantly*.

It means mommy has something to constantly chase after. It means that after a hard day at work, Daddy comes home and I can run him into the ground.

My main motivation for pulling myself up is so I can beat on things....preferably daddy! But, as he edits my blog from time to time...

...he'll only show me beating on my toys!

Or smiling for the camera -- which I am known to do from time to time!

More Food...

To try and make up for some of the gruel I'm constantly fed, mommy and daddy give me these crunchy things. While not particularly nice, they do have this wonderful crunch I can sort of cut my teeth on... But, they just don't hand these things out all day long -- I usually have to make a fuss to get them!

Teeth!

I think I should probably spend some time showing off my set of chompers. They are pretty useful for munching on roasted parsnips but gruel doesn't require their use at all! That said, here is me and my big toothy grin!

House Time!

Out for a little crawl around the house, it is amazing the cool things you can find!

(yea, that is my drool -- I do that when I get excited!) My favorite thing that I've discovered is the springy doorstop. I can tweak it and it makes funny noises!

The boiiiiinnnnngggg noise the doorstop makes is almost -- but not quite -- as cool as the noise the crinkling of a plastic bag makes! But mommy and daddy take the plastic bags away from me...how much longer will they spoiling MY fun?!?

Eating, 101...

The first thing about eating at my age -- the food is awful! Sure, it has its moments. But how would *you* like to eat some sort of gruel every meal?

Daddy drinks red wine and eats all sorts of cool looking things. Mommy gets ice cream, chocolate and all sort tasty things. Sure, I get the occasional roasted carrot or a parsnip snip -- but mostly, I get gruel.

Bleeh! Someone call the Culinary Institute of America and inform them that there are two taste bud terrorists called my parents feeding me this horrible stuff!

Sunlight!

...a few shots of me being cute playing in the sunlight!

Sunday Drama

Sunday means drama. And true drama is watching the Minnesota Vikings! I got to watch Brett Favre dismantle the Dallas Cowboys today! But, that said, I was a bit concerned...

...thankfully, the Vikings arose to the occasion and smote the Dallas Cowboys! Brett ended up being my super star -- well, my other Super Star, actually... My first one is this wonderful plastic one that daddy bought me and mommy lets me play with!

In the end, I just had to go cheer!
